How to Register
Online registration for 2017 Festival will open on November 5, 2016 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time.
Onsite registration opens at 6 a.m. on Festival days (6:45 a.m. on Monday). The registration desk is at the Community Center, 1001 Kennedy Way. Check in there to receive your Festival pass and packet.
All festival participants must register, including children under 12 who will accompany an adult. See fees below. Those who participate only in Family Day do not need to pre-register, but may be required to pay event fees as described on the Family Day webpage.
Registration Options: You can register online on or before January 6 securely at our online registration partner, and either pay online or mail a check to MBWBF that is received within 7 days. Alternatively, you can download a registration form from this website, fill it out and mail it in. Finally, after online and mail in registration is closed, you can only register onsite, in person during the days of the Festival. Online registration is your best bet to secure a place in a popular event. Mail in registrations will not be processed until after online registration begins.
Click here for online registration. Use the forms you find there to register for events and lunches. When you have finished, you may pay online using either VISA or MasterCard on the secure PayPal server, OR send us a check by mail to reach us within 7 days.

Online registrations paid by mail will be held for one week pending payment.
Register By Mail
Download a form here. List each person, including children. List a second choice for both a.m. and p.m., since many events are limited. Pay by check and mail to the above address. Confirmation will be mailed. Mail in registrations received on or before November 5 will be processed beginning November 6, and as received after that date. They will not be given priority if received before Nov 5.
Reservations postmarked by January 3, 2016 will be processed in the order received. After that date, you may register only at the Community Center during the Festival. We do not accept phone or fax registrations.

2017 Registration and Event Fees [subject to change]*
Adult, age 18 or older, Full Festival, $75*.
Adult, age 18 or older, One Day, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, $40; Monday, $15 **.
(The one-day registration includes events on that one day only.)
Youth up to age 17 register free. Everyone MUST register and have a pass to attend Festival events. Youth 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Family Day Only:*
No preregistration and no registration fee is required, but some fees apply to specific events and can be paid at the event itself. See the Family Day webpage for more information.
*Additional fees are charged for certain events as listed on the schedule for adults, students, and children.
**The one-day registration includes events on that one day only.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made on or before January 3, 2016, will result in a refund of fees paid, less $25 administrative fee for each registrant. Refunds will be processed by the Registrar after the festival. No refunds will be made for cancellations after January 3, 2016, or for no-shows.
Morro Bay Winter Bird Festival reserves the right to cancel any event for any reason, and you will receive a full refund for any paid event which we cancel.
